GRRR!!!

I've been harping on this issue since Monday.

Ever since the teachers announced that there they are taking out the intermission for limelight.

OMG. I am damn sad. Intermission is like, the best part of the concert. And they take away the best part! What for??? So the concert will end 30mins earlier? Intermission isn't even 30 mins long-.-

What irks me most is the fact that ending the concert early doesn't help much in tickets sales.
If people don't want to come, they won't buy the tickets, even if you shorten the concert by 1hr or slash the ticket price by half.
Excuses such as "Oh, it ends too late." or "Too expensive" or "I have CCA on that day" are just a nice way to phrase "I'm too lazy, so I won't go for your concert"

The main reason people do not want to come is that for Sec 4s, there's Common Tests the next day. Who wants to come if there's CTs?
CCA on that day + concert at night = Not being able to study for CTs
This means P(failing CTs)=0.99.
And no one wants to pay $11 so that they might fail their CTs. Only best friends + super supportive people would do that, and they are very rare. Few of such people exists in our school.

Okay. Here are 3 more comments from my friends after they knew that intermission was taken out.

Geraldine: "Huh? Then we come for what? Can't even meet you."

Simin: ":(. Waste money leh."

Natalia: "WHAT??? STUPID TEACHERS"

I'm sad there's no intermission because it's my last concert. And my relatives were all going to buy flowers for me for my last concert! They wanted to pass it to me during intermission. Also, Simin+Geraldine were going to give me their 爱心晚餐 and Nat was going to give me a present during the interval. But now, I can't recieve them anymore. :'( No 爱心晚餐 :'(

What a sad last concert.
