After all that hype about getting top band and gold (91.5) in SIBF....

I fell sick. :(

Ok, i think i was already sick a day before competition. Like i experienced discomfort while swallowing saliva. I thought it was because my throat was dry since there were so many band practices...but after drinking tons of water, i still feel pain in my throat.

Therefore, I didn't go to school today. I visited the doctor and got some medicine for my sore throat. Sigh. I better recover soon. If CGSSB remains top band for second division, we have to perform again on Sunday! So i must recover no matter what. I shall keep drinking water and going to the toilet. :)

I think the whole band is going to fall sick, since we all shared the same bottle of water. So we drank the sick people's saliva. Sick people= people like evelyn and me. :D

On a side note, I am so so so proud of our batch. I didn't expect us to do so well! We managed to get Gold 2 times in a row~ I guess it's because most of us were not that nervous since we were getting used to performing on stage. Seriously, i didn't feel nervous at all. I was just excited and waiting for everything to be all over. Also, i guess it's because of the acoustics in the hall. There were a lot of echo and it sort of covered up our mistakes. Furthermore, the hall made us sound louder than usual, so we didn't need to play that loud and could save our energy to hit the high notes. I love the hall. Hopefully SYF will be held there? Hahaha. Can't wait for the next competition as it will be present time once again!

For the rest of the day, I think i shall catch up on my homework since i don't really understand anything. Bye~
